The Fae Dress & Mini Sew-Along

The Fae Dress and Mini Sew-Along video is here! As you view this video, please note you will see me primarily working on a dress length, handkerchief skirt version of this pattern -but don't worry - I do also cover creating the circle skirt. Also, the steps are exactly the same regardless of whether you are making the knee-length dress or the mini-version.

Before you start sewing, I do encourage you to look through the written sewing tutorial - especially the sections on achieving a custom fit, as this will allow you to get a more personalized fit for your body - especially if your waist and bust are in two different sizes.

If you have never cut fabric on the double fold before, you can visit this blog post before you start cutting and sewing to learn how to cut your skirt pieces on the double fold. One tip to help your dress come together quickly and easily: be very careful to cut the waist of the skirt very accurately or else your skirt might end up being slightly too big or slightly too small for your bodice.
